In our Diesel Technology Program, you will acquire skills from hands-on training in a variety of mechanical, electrical, and computer systems necessary to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment, trucks, locomotive engines, and other types of heavy construction equipment! What you will learn:
  • Rebuilding and troubleshooting diesel/or locomotive engine
  • Rebuilding and troubleshooting mechanical components
  • Intrepid electrical prints and doing electrical/electronic system troubleshooting
  • Diagnosing computerized systems necessary to repair malfunctions
  • Maintaining agricultural equipment, trucks, and other types of heavy construction equipment
  • Developing skills in transmissions diagnostic and repair
  • Intrepid hydraulic prints and symbols to diagnostic and to do repair on hydraulic systems
  • Diagnosing drivelines and power dividers
  • Studying air brakes systems and troubleshooting their malfunctions
  • Diagnosing air conditioning systems
  • Studying and understanding how GPS GIS and other GPS systems work
  • Servicing and diagnosing GPS equipment
