What you will learn:
  • Students will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to produce cross sectional images to aid radiologists in diagnosing diseases and disorders.
  • Students will evaluate methods used in CT for dose safety and maintaining ALARA.
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to recognize the signs and symptoms of a contrast reaction.
  • Students will understand the physical principles, system components andthe image formation process for CT.
  • Students will describe routine imaging protocols used in CT.
